This is a really interesting place to visit if you want to learn more about how a normal Glaswegian lived a hundred years ago.
The staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
The gift shop is small but has a nice selection of things that are a wee bit different to a lot of the standard tourist shops.
This is also a cool place to visit if you're Scottish , bring an older relative for maximum nostalgia points, or understand what your tenement looked like before it got 50 layers of landlord white paint on it.

It was a good experience. During august Bank holiday weekend. The ladies there are so informative on the tenement house.
There are toilets.
There does not seem to be a lift to the front door. Enquire before you arrive.

Apt frozen in 1935 with original from when Agnes and her daughter lived there.
30 minute walk from city center. I got on the 2nd time (9/21) I went on the same day. When I went the first time in the morning, the lady sent me away because I hadn’t booked a ticket. She told me that likely it would be the same tomorrow (unlikely to get in). When I went back to the hotel, I went on the Tenement house website, it literally says “ There is no need to book in advance to visit us - we look forward to welcoming you soon to the Tenement House.” Determined to see the museum on this day since I had free time, I walked 1 1/2 miles back. The same woman was there who turned me down that morning. She said she remembered me and that I could come in. What has changed? I also could not find any way to book a visit on their website. It’s worth seeing but not worth it if you don’t know for sure whether or not you’ll get in.
